The messages at Metrobrook are always relevant and make an impact in my daily life. I'll often find myself reflecting on a sermon that was given more than 6 months ago.

Our Current Series
Summer in the Spirit
Metrobrookers, this summer we are studying the Holy Spirit from the writings of the Apostle Paul. We are doing this through our Sunday worship services and through some new home groups.
We are doing something we have not done for quite a while as a church: using a book as a backdrop to the sermons and to aid in further study as we delve into this topic together. The book is Paul, the Spirit, and the People of God by Gordon Fee. Fee’s purpose in writing the book is out of an urgency for today’s church to grasp the truth and experience of the Holy Spirit; what that means for us as individuals, His people and the increase of the Gospel.
Each week we will study one aspect of the Holy Spirit from Paul’s writings, and a corresponding chapter or two will be highlighted for further study and reflection. We thought this would be a good way to keep all of us connected through the summer since many travel and many of our college students go home for the summer.
You can purchase the book for $10 at the Simple Connect Table. A schedule of topics and readings is also available there. We anticipate this being a deep, rich summer of study, teaching, learning and being transformed.
We are also starting two new home Bible Study Groups that will follow the sermon series. Matt and Ruth Brown are hosting a group in their home near the Marquette Campus; Brad and Carol Hemze are hosting a group in their home near the Village of Wauwatosa. Groups are limited to 10 people, and you can register through Jenny Heckman or at the Simple Connect table. It is not necessary to be at every worship service to attend a group! The discussion will be flexible enough to allow everyone to participate, and the connection and fellowship is worth joining!
We hope to see you much through the summer….participating and connecting with God and one another.
