One thing that really impresses me about Metrobrook is our vision to live out our faith by serving peoples needs — both physically as well as spiritually. Our actions demonstrate that our faith is more than just a verbal profession.

Our Vision

Our Vision Statement:
We envision a city-center community of changed people committed to serving and transforming Milwaukee and the world through a movement of the Gospel.

A vision is a picture of “what can be.” At Metrobrook, we come back to our vision often because it helps keep a diverse group of individuals headed in the same direction. There are several aspects to our vision that make Metrobrook distinctive.

We Are a City-Center Church

While many Christians have a negative stance toward the city, we have an extremely positive view of Milwaukee and what God is already doing here.

The Gospel Can Transform Milwaukee

While quality education, a thriving arts community, and a growing economy are important to the development of Milwaukee, we believe the Gospel is the key for both personal change and societal transformation. The Gospel tells us we are more deeply flawed than we ever dared realize and yet we are more deeply loved than we could ever dare believe.

We Are Part of the Movement of the Gospel

We realize we can not build a great city by ourselves. As a result, we expect to launch dozens of new churches with similar vision and values by 2020.

We Serve Milwaukee's Holistic Needs

We are committed to serving the holistic needs of people throughout the city and world whether they believe as we do or not.

We Form Deep Community

We form deep communicty because Christians cannot develop the unique character that the Gospel creates simply through having a one-on-one relationship with God. In Christian community we encourage and equip people to live out Gospel values in every area of life.

We believe this is a vision we can pray and live for!
