Training & Equipping
We value the development of people, at all levels of faith and leadership. We believe the most effective way to develop people is through life-on-life relationships, offered through coaching. Coaching is conducted through the pastoral staff, elders and a coaching team of lay leaders. In addition to these coaching relationships, two learning communities are provided throughout the year.
FUSION ... where real faith and real life come together
Offered three or four times a year, FUSION is an environment for the Metrobrook congregation to gather to celebrate, have fun and learn. Each FUSION is arranged around different themes and a variety of break-outs, activities, speakers to help Christ-followers deepen their understanding of faith, culture and strategies for living distinctly Christian in their spheres of influence. FUSION is facilitated on a Saturday morning.
Inside-Out Metrobrook Membership Class
Offered on the same day as FUSION, but a day-long course, the membership class is for those ready to commit and invest in the local body of believers called Metrobrook Church. Mission, values, Metrobrook statement of faith are discussed the first portion of the day. Sharing personal faith stories, discovering the talents and skills God has given us and how to invest them at Metrobrook Church and beyond is emphasized the majority of the day. Some reading and completion of personal inventories is required prior to the class.
